Responsibilities:
- P Edit and restructure major reports concerning the Aga Khan Development Network’s health microinsurance initiative in Pakistan, a Gates-funded case study about health microinsurance in India, and the Gates-funded financial diaries research in Malawi and in Kenya. Along with high-level editorial guidance, was responsible for copy editing to improve clarity, create a consistent voice, eliminate redundancies, and ensure flawless grammatical and typographical presentation consistent with APA style guidelines.
- P Oversee design and production of India, Kenya and Malawi reports, incorporating original photography and graphic elements to ensure end products were visually attractive as well as compellingly written.
- P Write 12-page brief updating Pakistan findings to reflect major new developments; required interviewing Aga Khan on-the-ground staff and conducting new research.
- P Write summary brief of India report.
- P Write suite of shorter (2-6 pp) subject-specific policy briefs based on each of the Africa reports.
- P Produce well-attended presentation of Kenya findings to London audience in collaboration with the Microfinance Club of the UK.
- P Advise on dissemination strategy for all reports and secure speaking engagements.
